You can go here from Ho Chi Minh City by bus. It takes about 2 hours. My Tho is the most accessible Mekong Delta town. You can take a boat across Tien River to Tuoi Son Island and Ben Tre, visit coconut candy factories, wander through fruit orchids and feast on fresh seafood.

Ben Tre

Ben Tre itself is a compact little market town. You can join in some activities such as going on boat trips along the Delta canals or general motor biking which bring you the opportunity to see the stunning rice paddy, scenery, seas of smiles and friendly people.

Can Tho

It is one of the largest towns of Mekong Delta. The highlights here is the floating markets which you shouldn’t miss in your holiday to Vietnam. Among them, two best ones are Cai Rang and Phong Dien. Too see and join in these special market, don’t forget to arrange it one or two days before your go and most important, wake up early (almost 5:00am). It is worth an ealry waking up.
